There would be where we would go to assert our rights as tenants and withhold rent, etc for the repairs. But won’t do that because of the problems we have with our current landlord, and we can’t afford to be evicted. Which ASLOCA can’t promise won’t happen.You make good points and although, I differ in opinion in some aspects do to the fact that I am not Swiss, I am American and I grew up with a different culture and value system. It is because of my Alien-ness that I write this blog. And it (the blog) represents MY personal struggle with a country that is foreign to me in so many things. This particular post is about my experience with renting and my exasperation with the entire ordeal.Switzerland is a wealthy and successful country, but there are things that can and should be improved on, in My Own Opinion. I am not writing to start arguments on the quality of life or the welfare the country provides for it’s citizens. It’s a country that you should be proud of and of course love. As I love (not always) my own country. No one is perfect. And no country is either. I simply write what and how I feel in any given moment.I hope you will visit again !
